Armyman's wife slams warmongers

Protectors of country don’t need reminder, she says

-

After the Pulwana attack in which 44 CRPF jawans were killed by Pak-based terror group Jaish-e-Mohammad, there are voices all over the country screaming for revenge and declaring that it is time India went to war. Any utterance to the contrary is being blackballed as anti-national or sceptical.

The Indian social media seems to be having a field day, with war being at the core of all messaging. Amidst this turbulence, celebrity singer and performer Manasi Scott

tweeted her mother's personal message. Scott's mother, the 'proud fauji-wife' of the late Lt General Gautam Ravindranath PVSM, VSM, SM, wrote: "Those who are asking for 'revenge' on social media... why? Because it is somebody else who's going to die doing that for you, again? While you piss and spit on the roads, break all rules, drive like maniacs. holler after girls and women and all this while hating each other on the basis of caste and religion or region; and repeatedly voting in criminals because that's what the political party of your choice chose to field in election? First, be worthy of your so called 'revenge'... Or else go to the front and get it yourself... As to the rest, those who lost their brethren will keep on doing their job... They don't need reminders." Another actor and daughter of an armyman, Richa Chadha said, "Sane voice. Love to your mama," with a heart emoji.
