Loose, light and easy

Arshad Warsi tells ANITA RAHEJAHEENA AGARWAL that he is a fan of black

-

Arshad Warsi tells you to be an original dresser because to be comfortable in your skin you have to be at home in the outfit you are wearing. Hear it from the horse’s mouth...

My all-time favourite outfit: I am most comfortable in loose clothes, but nothing beats jeans and a teeshirt. My most favourite outfit when travelling to my shoots: I am very weird on that front, I wear shorts, Tshirts. wrap arounds, drawstring pyjamas; I travel very comfortably. My all-time favourite outfit for

a formal occasion: A good Indian formal or preferably suits. Suits are a wonderful formal wear as they are very classy and nice and look really good. My favourite colour: I am a fan of

black. My favourite fabric: I

am a linen and a cotton guy, no synthetics for me. The most expensive accessory I have bought: A few of my watches are very expensive, Frank Millers and Rolexs. And some pretty expensive Armani suits.

I look best in: Loose comfortable clothes are what works for me but yes, I look best in jeans. According to me the best dressed actors are: Shah Rukh, Mr Bachchan, Priyanka and Deepika. I like women to be dressed: In suits.

They look really smart. My favourite brand in jeans: I wear Diesel. I must be having at least 35 to 40 pairs of jeans, I have never counted them. My favourite cologne: Issey Miyake, Jean Paul Gaultier and Ck. I like to shop: Abroad. I was in Paris recently and it has got really good stuff for both men and women.

A rare Graham which is meant for left handed people; it is a limited edition kind of watch and therefore rare.

In watches I possess:

My favourite brand in clothes: No particular brand, I like everything that looks good on me. In sunglassses I prefer: Rayban.

Boots, not of any on particular brand though. There was a phase of my life when I would get my shoes made in Thailand. They look good and are comfortable to wear.

I have a fetish for: For my hair I use:

L’Oréal Colour Plus. I don’t like to colour my hair but this product protects the hair. Both L’Oreal shampoo and conditioner are fab as they protect your hair from ultraviolet rays.

Hair care routine:

Besides the above-mentioned conditioner and shampoo, I oil my hair to prevent it from going dry.

My personal hairstylist:

The one who is with me 24/7 is the one who cuts my hair.

Tip on clothes:

Wear what looks good on you, wear what you are comfortable in and do not try to be someone else. Ranveer can carry off certain kind of clothes and looks good in them but it does not mean everyone can do so.

Tip on hair care:

Do not use too many hair products. Avoid wax and hair sprays as far as possible. Keep it natural.
