Varsity bldg partially falls in St Petersburg

ST PETERSBURG: A prominent university building partially collapsed here on Saturday (local time), authorities said adding there were no casualties reported so far. About 86 people had been evacuated safely and there were 24 rescue unit teams present in the area, a spokesperson for the Russian Emergency Ministry told CNN. Three floors of the St. Petersburg Research University of Information Technologies, Mechanics and Optics partially collapsed. It is yet to be ascertained what caused the collapse.
