Overview of IBC 2016 and valuation

Amitava Mukherjee, Director (Finance), NMDC Limited was invited by The Institute of Cost Accountants of India (ICAI) as the chief guest on the occasion of one-day programme organised on ‘Overview of Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code (IBC) -2016 and Valuation’ at Kolkata recently. Mukherjee in his keynote address touched upon confidence building measures undertaken by the Government for attracting foreign investments. He predicted that the IBC would lead to better management of assets and would also lead forward for better corporate management. Mukherjee also emphasied that steel sector would play a pivotal role for the country’s development.
