JMJ Sports over come DK Pharma

JMJ Sports got off to a bright start with a 1-0 1-0 win over DK Pharma Sports Club in a First Division play-off match of the Rustomjee-MDFA League, at the Neville D’Souza football ground, Bandra, here on Sunday.

After a barren first half, JMJ Sports Club earned a penalty when their striker Reuben Fernandes was deliberately fouled inside the penalty area and the referee awarded pointd the dreaded spoty.

Ankit Chavan successfully converted to give JMJ Sports Club the lead.
