GIRIRAJ WANTS CONG TO EXPEL NAVJOT SIDHU

-

Union minister Giriraj Singh on Sunday demanded the expulsion of cricketer-turnedpolitician Navjot Singh Sidhu from the Congress in view of his comments on the Pulwama terror attack. The Punjab minister had, while denouncing the terror attack, demanded if entire Pakistan must be held responsible for the terrorist act of an individual. ‘‘Congress president Rahul Gandhi should offer a clarification, apologise to the nation and expel Sidhu from his party," Singh told reporters here. The firebrand BJP leader also hailed the Centre's decision to withdraw the security cover of six Kashmiri separatist leaders, saying they were "traitors" who were being "treated like guests".
