Monte Carlo settles trademark row with Skoda Auto

Garments manufacturer Monte Carlo Fashions Monday said it has entered into an agreement with Skoda Auto India allowing the automaker to use its trademark 'Monte Carlo'. The agreement between the two parties comes a year after a Delhi court had admitted a trademark violation plea for infringement of trademark Monte Carlo owned by Monte Carlo Fashions Ltd against Skoda Auto India from using the brand name with respect to a new Monte Carlo edition car.
