BJP indulging in grand adulteration: Congress

Congress treasurer Ahmed Patel on Tuesday paid back Prime Minister Modi with his own words in the Lok Sabha on February 7, dubbing the Opposition’s bid for a “Maha- Gathbandhan” (grand alliance) as a ‘Maha- Milawat” (grant adulteration).

Modi had asserted that the nation needs a stable government with full majority instead of suffering for the past 30 years from unstable coalition governments. Ahmed Patel reminded him that his own Bhartiya Janata Party is busy forming alliances, first in Bihar, then in Maharashtra and now in Tamil Nadu.

He went on to pose a “maha- sawal” as to whether the alliance the BJP is forging are “Maha- Milawat,” a word coined by Modi or it is out of “Maha-Bhay” (grand fear).
