Imran Khan puppet of military: Ex-wife

Pakistan PM Imran Khan's wife Reham Khan on Tuesday said that he was a puppet of the country's military and was waiting for its instructions to make a statement on the Pulwama terror attack. "Imran has come into power by compromising on ideology and moderate policy. Do not imagine for a minute that it is his policy. He is instructed to do and instructed to say what the state wants. We have seen the rise of new extremist religious parties during the elections and we have seen a lot of violence, riots in Islamabad. Imran Khan used a blasphemy card," Reham Khan said.

Reham Khan's response came hours after Imran Khan said that Pakistan would certainly retaliate if India declared a war.

"If you [the Indian government] think you will attack us and we will not think of retaliating, you are wrong. We will retaliate. We will have no other option other than retaliating. We all know starting a war is in the hands of humans, where it will lead us, only God knows," a sombre Khan said in a nationwide broadcast. Reham Khan asserted that Imran Khan did what he was taught to do.
