PM inaugurates sub-stations in Orai & Aligarh

Prime Minister, Narendra Modi inaugured POWERGRID 765/400 kV Orai sub-station and 765 kV Aligarh sub-station and associated lines at a mega event held in Jhansi, as part of Transmission System for inter-regional strengthening scheme for Western Region (WR) and Northern Region (NR) (Part-B). Addressing the gathering, PM said, “To solve the problem of electricity, the transmission system has been improved. Now along with Bundelkhand, the power system will be improved in many areas of Western UP. Power generated will be transmitted to different regions through the Western and Northern grid.”
