Loose fiscal, monetary policies not to boost economy: Nomura
MUMBAI: Despite the almost lose fiscal and monetary policies, the economy is likely to slow down to 6-6.5 percent in the first half of 2019, due to weak global demand, political uncertainty and tighter financial conditions, says brokerage report. The Reserve Bank under the new governor had last week projected a GDP growth of 7.4 percent for 2019-20--7.27.4 per cent in first half, and 7.5 percent in the second half.
