Rahul Sachdev (Scratch handicap) grabbed all the attention with an unbeaten 91 break, the highest in the tournament. Sachdev along with his partner Himanshu Jain, also playing with a scratch handicap, outshone the Khar Gymkhana duo of Sahil Kakad (+30) and Manoj Kasare (+30) by a 3-1 margin, in a second round match of the Khar Gymkhana Snooker Shootout, at Khar Gymkhana’s Yasin Merchant Snooker Room, on Thursday.

The southpaw cueist Sachdev got off to a poor start as he lost to Kasare 64-90 in the opening 15-red frame. But his teammate Jain won the 6-red second frame defeating Kakad by a narrow 47-39 margin to draw level. Later, the Sachdev and Jain combination proved too good for the Kakad and Kasare pairing and comfortably won the 15-red doubles contest by an 88-53 margin.
