In to the divine — The journey of melting within

Recent work of a well-known Mumbai-based artist Dr. Narendra Borlepwar will be showcased an exhibition titled In to the divine — The journey of melting within. It will reveal his artistic perceptions about his inward journey of melting within, in a very aesthetic way. The present series reveals his inner journey of recent years, He says, “With growing age an artist’s worldly experiences too keeps blossoming. Things which seemed grand and brilliant suddenly start looking very ordinary and inconspicuous. He begins to feel and intrinsic hollow-ness of physically tangible possessions. When this feeling intensifies, we automatically start ignoring the outwardly frills. As a result, we begin to look within and when the process of sneak peep within starts, the experience that one gets is also mystical and sublime. This journey is no less than a miracle. The stony sense of ego which had resulted from the misleading perception that I am some kind extraordinary power starts softening a little and if this condition lasts for some time, the ego starts melting. The burdensome mind and intellect become lighter from the unnecessary baggage it had been carrying…becomes uninhabited. Today while crossing the 40th milestone of my age, the most significant thing I feel is the beginninig this process of melting within…my words and paintings give me the support in this melting and amalgamation.”
