4 drunks stab tailor to death in Thane

In a tragic incident, a tailor was stabbed to death with a pair of scissors by four persons over a petty issue in Ulhasnagar on Tuesday night.

Police said the four drug addicts fled the spot after the crime.

The deceased has been identified as Dilip Ramji Kushwaha (37), who was a tailor by profession and worked at a jeans factory at Ulhanagaar.

The main accused has been identified as Sonu Chaugele. who stabbed him in multiples times.

The other three accused’s names were not revealed due to the ongoing probe, said the police.

The Ulhasnagar Hill Line police registered a case under sections 302 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) against them.

Police said the incident took place in the OT section area in Ulhasnagar when Dilip was working in a jeans factory. The four persons were sitting around the jeans factory premises and doing the drugs and consuming alcohol.

Police said they were sitting on the premises of the jeans factory and consuming alcohol. When the tailor, Dilip had objected them about their drink. They got angry and started argument with him. Following which in fit of rage, Sonu took a scissors from factory and multiple times stabbing him.

M K Khandare, police inspector from Hill Line police said,"We have arrested him on Wednesday. They all have been produced before court and remanded them police custody till October 29".

The incident took place in the OT section area in Ulhasnagar when Dilip Ramji Kushwaha was working. The four persons were sitting in the jeans factory premises and having drugs. When he objected, the infuriated accused stabbed him several times.
