Chambal Fertilisers profit up 125%

Chambal Fertilisers and Chemicals Ltd has reported 125 per cent jump in its net profit for 2019-20 at Rs 1,224 crore, including one-time deferred tax credit due to promulgation of Taxation Laws (Amendment) Act 2019. Excluding the deferred tax credit, the net profit works out to Rs 880 crore, up by 61 per cent from Rs 545 crore in FY19. Annual revenue for FY20 stood at Rs 12,206 crore, marking an increase of 21 per cent year-on-year.
