FAKE NEWS APLENTY

No Sukhoi SU-30 fighter jet has been shot down in Tibet, the Press Information Bureau (PIB) said in a fact check on Monday, rubbishing half a dozen fake news. It described as "fake" the claim by Zhong Xin in a tweet as a Breaking News that "our Air force has shutdown Indian fighter jeet Sukhoi su-30 in Tibet.

Other fake news denied on Monday include: YouTube video saying all to getRs 3,000 per month as Pradhan Mantri MaanDhan Yojana; WhatsApp message that govt giving opportunity to earn, sitting at home under Mahatma Gandhi Berozgar Yojana. —
