Franklin Templeton Mutual Fund gets Rs 1,080 cr from six shut funds

Franklin Templeton Mutual Fund received 10.78 bln rupees between Sep 16 and 30 through maturities, pre-payments and coupon payments from the six debt schemes which were shut down in April, according to the fund house's website. The fund house has recovered 82.62 bln rupees so far. On Apr 23, the fund house announced closure of six debt funds--Franklin India Low Duration Fund, Franklin India Dynamic Accrual Fund, Franklin India Credit Risk Fund, Franklin India Short Term Income Plan, Franklin India Ultra Short Bond Fund and Franklin India Income Opportunit­ies Fund.
