RWF celebrates Swachh Bharat Diwas

As a part of Swachhta Pakwara, Swachh Bharat Diwas was observed today at Rail Wheel Factor y. Rajiv Kumar Vyas, General Manager, administered the pledge on ‘Swachhta’ and Non-Use of Single Use Plastic’ to officers and staff. Later he unveiled the statue of Mahatma Gandhi installed in the premises of RWF and paid floral tribute to the great leader. He also paid tribute to Bharat Rathna Lal Bahadur Shastr y, former Prime Minister of India. All officers and staff of RWF also followed in paying tribute to the great leader. A tree plantation programme was also organized. RWF observed Swachhta Pakhwara from 16/09/20 to 30/09/20. Cleaning of shop floor and colonies were done. A webinar on waste management was organized. To bring more awareness among staff, an on line quiz competition was also organized during the period. The enthusiastic response from the staff was highly encouraging.
