Central Railway’s Matunga Workshop rolls out 100th LHB coach after maintenance District Magistrate, Gautam Budh Nagar interacts with girl students at NTPC Dadri
Matunga Carriage Workshop rolled out its100th LHB coach af ter maintenance on January 12, 2021 in presence of A.K. Gupta, Principal Chief Mechanical Engineer, Central Railway and other senior officials of Central Railway. Matunga Workshop team has put in significant efforts for maintenance of LHB coaches, whose fleet on Central Railway is rapidly increasing. Despite the COVID pandemic, dedicated Matunga workshop team has continued with its regular outturn work and even covered the backlog of LHB coach maintenance. Sanjeev Mittal, General Manager, Central Railway appreciated the quality work done by Matunga team.
Suhas LY, IAS, District Magistrate, Gautam Budh Nagar interacted with girl students at NTPC Dadri on January 11, as chief guest at the cycle distribution programme under CSR initiative as part of Girl Empowerment Mission of Govt. of India. During the interaction the DM motivated the girl students to adopt positive attitude for new learnings and reading habits and focus on use of social media platforms to achieve success in future. As many as 51 girl students of nearby 6 Primar y schools were given bicycles in first phase. A total of 215 bicycles are to be distributed among girl students. C. Sivakumar, GGM (Dadri) with senior officials graced the occasion. The event was organised following COVID-19 protocol.
