No fine for not wearing mask inside private vehicle

MUMBAI: The BrihanMumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) on Sunday announced those not wearing masks inside their private vehicles /cars will not befined. However, not wearing face masks in a public transport like bus, auto rikshaw and trucks will continue to be a punishable offence, civic officials said. BMC made wearing of face masks compulsory starting April 8, given the increasing number of COVID-19 cases in the city.
