Four booked for extorting realty agent in Aarey, 2 held

MUMBAI: An Aarey-based real estate agent was being allegedly blackmailed by four people, including journalists, over an illegal structure at his residence and shop near Royal Palm gate. Two accused have been arrested in the case. Police said that the four people had approached the complainant, Raees Ansari, 40, and allegedly demanded Rs 1.08 lakh from him to keep his illegal structure under wraps, failing which they would report it to the authorities through their publication and ensure it is razed down. -
