Trident Oct-Dec consolidated net surges threefold to Rs 112 crore

Trident Ltd posted a threefold on-year surge in consolidated net profit for the December quarter at 1.12 bln rupees. Revenue from operations for the quarter rose 20.4% to 13.03 bln rupees. Sequentially, the net profit rose 6.1% and revenue rose 11%. The company's other income fell to 50.9 mln rupees from 85.1 mln rupees a year ago. In Oct-Dec, total expenditure, including finance cost, was at 11.58 bln rupees compared with 10.47 bln rupees a year ago.
