Alembic Pharma Oct-Dec consol PAT jumps 25% on year to Rs 293 crore

Alembic Pharmaceuticals Ltd's consolidated net profit for the December quarter rose nearly 25% on year to 2.93 bln rupees. Revenue from operations for the quarter rose nearly 9% to 13.14 bln rupees. Sequentially, the net profit fell 12% and revenue declined 9.8%. The company's other income rose to 25.3 mln rupees from 4.1 mln rupees a year ago. In Oct-Dec, total expenditure, including finance cost, was at 9.99 bln rupees compared with 9.33 bln rupees a year ago.
