BMC introduces online portal for shop registration

MUMBAI: The BMC has started an online portal for issuing registration certificate to the shop owners of Mumbai. With this system, shop-owners can avail the certificate free of cost, without having to go for a site visit. "Under Ease of Business Policy, the facility of issuing registration certificate online through shops and establishment department of BMC has been established. This service is available on Greater Mumbai Municipal Corpn’s website www.portal.mcgm.gov.in on 'Ser vices' tab under 'Shops and Establishments Account'," a BMC statement said.
