CENTRAL SCHOOLS’ VACATION CALENDAR

NEW DELHI: The Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) has announced in advance the vacation and breaks in its central schools during the academic session of 2021-22. In the schools in hot weather region like Delhi, Agra, Chandigarh, Kolkata, Jaipur, Patna, Varanasi and J&K, a 40day summer vacation will be from May 10 to June 18, 10 days of autumn break from October 11 to 20 and 20 days of winter break from December 21 to January 9, 2022. In Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Jabalpur, Raipur, Bhubaneshwar and Bhopal, the summer vacation will be from May 3 to June 20, autumn break from October 11 to 20 and an 11-day winter break from December 23 to January 2, 2022. In the winter regions, there will be only 10 days of summer vacation from May 17 to 26, an autumn break from October 11 to 20 and 50 days of winter break from December 3 to January 21, 2022. In extreme winter schools in Leh, Jargil and Nubra (Ladakh), the winter break of 70 days will be from December 3 to February 10, 2022 while the winter break in Tawang will be for 50 days from Dec 3 to Jan 21, 2022.
