‘ Fort Knox' fell
I am running short of superlatives to describe India’s stunning victory in the 4th cricket Test at Brisbane. Simply stupendous. The situation came perilously close to a tie, and if not a tie, a draw was a foregone conclusion, but wicketkeeper batsman Rishabh Pant had other ideas. India and Australia were involved in a tie at Chennai in 1986. Australia has not lost a Test at Brisbane since 1988, winning 24 of the 31 Tests played since then, which has ear ned the ground the sobriquet of Fort Knox. The Indians stole the ‘fort’.
