GOVT INSENSITIVE: PILOT
FPJ CORRESPONDENT / JAIPUR: Former Rajasthan Dy CM Sachin Pilot on Wednesday hit out at the Centre, saying it is insensitive and does not value the lives of farmers, sitting on dharna in the bitter cold for the last two months. He said BJP leaders’ statements against the farmers were shameful. Over 50 farmers have lost their lives but the government has not budged. He expressed condolences to Cong leader Gajendra Singh Shaktawat who died on Wednesday. “His death is an irreparable loss to the party and a personal loss for me,” he said. Shaktawat, 48, was unwell for a long time. He was suffering from liver infection and was undergoing treatment in the ILBS hospital in Delhi. He had also contracted Covid-19 during treatment.
