Vardhman Textiles consolidated Q3 net falls 14% on year, sales down 4%

Vardhman Textiles Ltd's consolidated net profit for the December quarter fell 14.4% on year to 1.71 bln rupees. Revenue from operations for the quarter fell 4.1% to 17.5 bln rupees. Sequentially, the net profit jumped over twofold and revenue rose 7.7%. The company's other income fell to 567.5 mln rupees from 703.7 mln rupees a year ago.
