MUMBAI: Music Broadcast Ltd's net profit for the December quarter nosedived 99.3% on-year to 732,000 rupees. In JulSep, the company had posted a net loss of 64.9 mln rupees. Revenue from operations for the quarter slumped 41.6% to 406.67 mln rupees, but rose 35.2% sequentially. The company's other income rose to 50.17 mln rupees from 41.62 mln rupees year ago. In Oct-Dec, total expenditure, including finance cost, was at 455.77 mln rupees compared with 594.51 mln rupees a year ago.

KOLKATA: Symphony Ltd's consolidated net profit for the December quarter slumped 47.1% on year to 270 mln rupees. Revenue from operations declined 25.5% to 2.16 bln rupees. Sequentially, the net profit rose 68.8% and revenue was 13.1% higher. The company's other income fell to 90 mln rupees from 100 mln rupees a year ago.
