CWC signs MoU with National Agricultural Cooperative Marketing Federation Of India

A Memorandum of Understanding was signed between CWC and NAFED on 19th Jan 2021, in the presence of MD-CWC, Arun Kr Shrivastava and MD-NAFED, Sanjeev Kr Chadha and other senior officers of both PSUs, for providing the scientific integrated warehousing services. CWC will provide one stop solution to NAFED, for proper storage of their procured stocks, processing, handling, transportation, sorting, grading, assaying, packing, insurance, etc. CWC will develop warehousing complex in the vacant land of NAFED and operate on long term lease basis. CWC will also hire warehouses for NAFED. The MoU will help in reducing the total logistics cost of operation of NAFED, by, improving professional standards, reducing of food grains wastage, optimum utilization of warehouses as well as the expansion of business activities for both the organisations.
