55 traffic violators booked in 5-hr operation
As a part of the Road Safety Month observed between January 17 and February 17, the Mumbai Traffic Police conducted random checks across the city in a crackdown on errant bikers and caught at least 55 motorists in a span of five hours between 10 pm and 3 am on Sunday.
Most errant bikers were caught in Bandra with 28 violations, followed by Worli with 12, Mahim eight, Santacruz three, Vile Parle two and one each at Chembur, Vakola.
