Attempt to murder case against Rajasthan MLA

A case of attempt to murder was lodged against a Rajasthan MLA and 6 others by Bhiwadi police on Monday for an alleged attack on the son of a BJP leader.

Baljeet Yadav, 42, an independent MLA from Behror, denied any role in the attack. He said Mohit was injured in an accident but his father is giving it a political colour and trying to gain sympathy.

Mohit Yadav, son for former minister Jaswant Yadav was allegedly attacked by some persons near Behror in Alwar, 100 km from Jaipur, on Sunday. Mohit received injuries in his back, hands and legs and was taken to hospital. His father Jaswant Yadav alleged the attack was carried out at the behest of Baljeet Yadav. He threatened to commit suicide if the perpetrators were not punished.
