Central Rly to install digilockers at cloak rooms of CSMT, LTT and Dadar stations

Central Railway Mumbai Division will be installing digilockers at cloak rooms of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus, Lokmanya Tilak Terminus and Dadar stations soon. These digital lockers will provide improved cloakroom amenity through safe lockers, digital payment facility, use of RFID tags and online receipt generation. Passenger who wishes to utilize this facility will first select the available locker. Af ter depositing necessary cash or other mode available in the digilocker it will open for keeping the luggage inside. Af ter keeping the luggage inside the locker it will give a receipt. When retrieving the luggage, the scanner will scan the receipt which has a QR/Bar code for opening the digilocker. This facility is being provided as a part of non-fare revenue model and tender has been awarded.
