Aarti Drugs October-December PAT up twofold on year at Rs 68 crore

Aarti Drugs Ltd reported an over twofold on-year surge in consolidated net profit for the December quarter at 680.4 mln rupees. Revenue from operations rose 12% to 5.3 bln rupees. Sequentially, the net profit was down 9.6% and revenue fell 8.3%. The company's other income rose eightfold on-year to 20 mln rupees. Total expenditure, including finance cost, was at 4.42 bln rupees compared with 4.27 bln rupees a year ago.
