72ND REPUBLIC DAY CELEBRATIONS Konkan Railway Indian Bank

The 72nd Republic Day was celebrated by Konkan Railway with great zeal and enthusiasm at Konkan Rail Vihar - Nerul, Navi Mumbai. The National Flag was unfurled by Sanjay Gupta, Chairman & Managing Director / Konkan Railway, followed by a Parade by Railway Protection Force (RPF) / Konkan Railway. Sanjay Gupta addressed the gathering and urged ever yone to continue working with dedication towards the growth of the Corporation. The function was attended by Officers and Staff of Konkan Railway and similar functions were organised in Ratnagiri and Karwar region of Konkan Railway duly maintaining social distancing norms. 72nd Republic Day was celebrated at Indian Bank Corporate Office, Royapettah and at Registered Head Office, 66 Rajaji Salai, Chennai. Padmaja Chunduru, Managing Director & CEO hoisted the National Flag. A Guard of honour was presented by Bank's Guards on this occasion. In the Republic Day address, Padmaja Chunduru recalled the contribution and sacrifices of our Great Leaders in establishing free India and the relentless effort pursued by the pioneers of the Bank. She extended her appreciation to all the Staff members for having braved the restriction imposed by the global outbreak of the Pandemic and contributed immensely for smooth amalgamation and having quickly moved on to consolidate the merger. While paying respects to the visionar y leaders of the Bank, she urged ever y member of the Indian Bank family to re-dedicate themselves to the growth of our Bank and towards Nation building.
