Sun Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd's consolidated net profit in the December quarter doubled on year to 18.52 bln rupees, and total revenue rose 8.4% to 88.37 bln rupees. Sequentially, the net profit rose 2.2% and revenue was up 3.3%. The net profit and net sales topped analysts' estimate of 14.8 bln rupees and 86.6 bln rupees, respectively.

Air conditioner maker Blue Star Ltd on Friday reported an 87.53% jump in consolidated net profit to Rs 36.72 crore in the third quarter ended December 2020, helped by lower expenses. The company had posted a consolidated net profit of Rs 19.58 crore in the corresponding period last fiscal, Blue Star said in a regulator y filing.
