SCOPE webinar on Strengthening HR strategies GAIL Gas bags ‘City Gas DistributionEstablished Company of the Year’ award

The growing complexities of business have magnified the need for a dynamic and resilient HR function in order to transform workplaces. Deliberating on this, Standing Conference of Public Enterprises (SCOPE) organised a Symposium on ‘Strengthening HR strategies in Emerging Business Environment’. The webinar was addressed by Ms. Soma Mondal, Chairperson, SAIL; Ranjan Kumar Mohapatra, Director(HR), IndianOil and Atul Sobti, Director General, SCOPE. Deloitte team comprising of Anandorup Ghose and Mohinish Sinha, Partners, Human Capital gave an insightful presentation into the changing paradigms of HR and measures to advent to the modern HR practices. Over 650 participants including senior officials from PSEs attended the webinar through SCOPE’s various platforms.

GAIL Gas Limited has been awarded the ‘City Gas Distribution – Established Company of the Year ’ by Federation of Indian Petroleum Industr y (FIPI). The award was given by Union Minister of Petroleum & Natural Gas and Steel, Dharmendra Pradhan to Chairman & MD, GAIL Manoj Jain and Chief Executive Officer, GAIL Gas M.V. Ravi Someswarudu at the FIPI Oil & Gas Industry Annual Awards 2020 ceremony held in New Delhi. The award recognises leadership in per formance by operating City Gas Distribution (CGD) network for distribution of Natural Gas to consumers in the domestic, industrial, transport and commercial sectors in a Geographical Area (GA) in India during the year of award.
