East Central Railway’s Kendriya Super Specialty Hospital celebrated its 12th Foundation day on January 22. The function was inaugurate­d by Lalit Chandra Trivedi, General Manager, East Central Railway who was also the chief guest at the event.

Before Covid 19, the growth of Inbound, Outbound and Domestic tour was on peak and Tourism industry was showing the significan­t growth. Due to the coronaviru­s induces lockdown all commercial activities came to on a halt and Tourism industr y was also not the exception. But now IRCTC is getting the tremendous response of the public and peoples are coming in large numbers to book the IRCTC Tour Packages. IRCTC’s Air tour packages for Kerala, Goa, Kashmir, Andaman, Rann of Kutchh in Gujarat and North East region launched for Feb and March months from different cities are fully booked and hence additional tours are being launched. Bharat Darshan train from Varanasi to Jyotirling Yatra started on 10th Jan with 600 booked tourists. Another train from Raxaul, Bihar is scheduled on 31st Jan for south India and more than 500 seats are booked. Pilgrim spl train from Jalandhar for Jyotirling tour on 27th Jan booked by more than 600 pax. Other tours from East, South and Western part, planned by IRCTC are also getting great patronage by public.

Chandigarh University, has announced the launch of 3 Undergradu­ate and 10 Postgradua­te online degree programs. It is offering degrees to a large number of students all over India who are looking to earn formal degrees in a flexible online environmen­t whilst pursuing jobs, studying or preparing for competitiv­e exams in parallel. The online learning experience offered by Chandigarh University programs will be augmented by leading ed-tech player, upGrad.
