FIFA is unveiling a program to educate its member associations worldwide about how to properly handle player harassment and abuse. The program, announced Wednesday, is an extension to FIFA Guardians, an initiative announced following the 2019 Women's World Cup to ensure player safety.

The Oman Open scheduled for March 4-7 on the European Tour has been postponed because of the coronavirus pandemic. It is the first event of the 2021 golf season lost to the pandemic. The tour says the decision was made following an announcement by the Omani government to be curtail gathering.
