14,500 litres of illegal petroleum oil seized from Kurla godowns

The CB Control wing of the Economic Offences Wing (EOW) has arrested two persons for alleged black-marketing of petroleum oil on Friday. During the raid, police have seized 14,500 litres of petroleum oil worth Rs 11.36 lakh from their godowns in Kurla.

The CB Control officials received specific information about the black-marketing of petroleum black oil at BMK compound and Kranti Nagar in Kurla. Acting on the information, the sleuths of CB control conducted raids at these godowns on Friday. During the raid, 70 drums carrying black lubricant oil have been seized.
