Bopanna ties up with McLachlan Indian shooters top medals tally Gaurav Gill rules day one
MELBOURNE: Indian tennis star Rohan Bopanna's search to look for a partner for the men's doubles competition at the Australian Open ended on Saturday as he tied up with Japan's Ben McLachlan for the season's first Grand Slam.
NEW DELHI: India's 24-member shooting contingent topped the medals tally in the first Asian Online Shooting Championship. The squad won four out of the eight gold medals on offer, besides two silver and five bronze medals, for a total of 11 podium finishes.
COIMBATORE: Gaurav Gill stole the show on opening day of the Rally of Coimbatore, Rd-3 of the FMSCI Indian National Rally here on Saturday. Gill along with his JK Tyre co-driver Musa Sherif, opened up a comfortable lead in the first two stages of the day itself.
NEW DELHI: BCCI secretary Jay Shah was unanimously elected as the President of the Asian Cricket Council (ACC) on Saturday. The 32-year-old replaces Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) chief Najmul Hasan Papon. BCCI treasurer Arun Singh Dhumal shared the news on Twitter.
