Coronavirus: Number of sealed buildings in city declines in Dec

MUMBAI: The number of sealed buildings in Mumbai has dropped to 2,000 from 5,000 in December, said data provided by civic officials. Whereas the number of containment zones (CZ) has dropped to 199 from 434 during the same period. Earlier this month, four wards were declared free of containment zones by the BMC - B ward (Dongri), G-South (Elphinstone and Worli), H-West (Bandra West), and R-Central (Borivli). The dip in sealed buildings and containment zones is the result of a significant drop in coronavirus cases. -
