WB Assembly polls: RJD in talks with TMC
RJD led by Lalu Yadav will expand its base in West Bengal by extending support to the TMC in the assembly election. Preliminar y talks started in Kolkata on Sunday between the senior RJD and TMC leaders.
The RJD leaders, Abdul Bari Sidiqqui, a former leader of opposition and Shyam Rajak, party vice-president, met Prashant Kishore, election planner hired by TMC in Kolkata. The two leaders from Patna have been given an appointment by Mamata Banerjee at 11 am on Monday. The two leaders told this correspondent over the phone from Kolkata that negotiations are at a primary stage and any concrete decision would be taken after a meeting with the West Bengal CM.
