Gallantry and meritorious award to BSF personnel on Republic Day

In recognition of the courage and braver y displayed during various duties and distinguished/ meritorious service rendered by Border Security Force personnel, the President of India is pleased to award 71 Medals which includes 20 Police Medal for Gallantr y (PMG) including 4 Posthumously, 5 President’s Police Medal for Distinguished Service (PPMDS) and 46 Police Medal for Meritorious Service (PMMS) to the BSF personnel on the occasion of “Republic Day- 2021”.
