5 held with 130 kg cannabis

MUMBAI: In its crackdown against drug peddlers, the Anti Narcotics Cell (ANC) of the Mumbai crime branch arrested five persons with 130 kilograms of cannabis worth Rs 26 lakh. During its operation ANC has arrested a cannabis dealer from Andhra Pradesh, said police. According to the police, the ANC officials received a specific information about a large quantity of cannabis smuggled to the city from Andhra Pradesh. Accordingly a team from Worli unit of ANC laid a trap near Phoenix Market City in Kurla and apprehended five persons af ter their movements found suspicious. -
