Tree collapse in Thane, none hurt

A tree collapsed at Wagle Estate area of Thane on Monday morning, damaging a parked vehicle. However, no casualty or Injury was reported due to the incident, said a civic of ficial.

"The incident took place during at around 3:35 am, near Sindhudurg Hotel, near Wagale Estate in Thane (W). The incident was reported to Shrinagar police station, in Thane, who later alerted the RDMC (Regional Disaster Management Cell) team of Thane," said a the official.

"A four wheeler parked aside the tree was damaged as the trunk of the uprooted tree fell on the car. However, no injury or casualty was reported in this incident. While, the branches of the uprooted tree that fell across the street was removed with the help of machineries by RDMC team within few hours," added the official.
