R K Tiwari launches Indian Bank’s MSME Prerana Business Mentoring Programme

Indian Bank, the 7th largest Public Sector Bank of the countr y extended its “MSME PRERANA” a Business - Mentoring Program for MSME entrepreneurs in Uttar Pradesh today. MSME Prerana, was launched by Union Minister of Finance and Corporate Affairs, Nirmala Sitharaman on 6th October 2020. MSME Prerana is a first of its kind initiative by a Bank in the countr y for the MSME sector. This is for empowering MSME entrepreneurs through skill development and capacity building workshops in the local languages. The programme is in collaboration with Knowledge Partner M/s Poornatha & Co, a firm that designs Entrepreneurial Development Programmes in vernacular using online web based interactive sessions and case studies. So far, about 300 MSME entrepreneurs have participated in this programme.
