PIL ON VIOLENCE AT R-DAY: HEARING IS ON WEDNESDAY

A Supreme Court Bench, headed by Chief Justice S A Bobde, will hear on Wednesday a PIL seeking a judicial inquir y into the Republic Day violence and registration of FIR against those dishonouring the national flag. The petition has been filed by a lawyer, Vishal Tiwari, who hails from Bharatpur in Rajasthan.Yet another petition has sought NIA probe into the violence. The petitioner has surprisingly also made Sambit Patra, a national spokesman of the ruling BJP, as respondent.
