Death toll rises to 2; FIR against four registered

One more person has succumbed in the Bhiwandi godown collapse incident, on Tuesday. Other injured victims are currently undergoing medical treatment at the hospital. The death toll has now risen to two, while 5 are injured. A FIR was registered against the four at Narpoli police station in Bhiwandi. Further investigation is on.

"The total death toll has risen to two, in the godown collapsed incident that occurred on February 1, at Harihar compound, in Dapola village of Bhiwandi. Hrithik Suresh Patil, is the name of the worker (second death) who died while undergoing treatment at the hospital, on Tuesday," said an official.

In the incident the whole slab of the first floor of the godown of the Shadowfax Private Limited, collapsed.
