Unforgivable lapse

Ref.: 'Sanitiser instead of polio dose' (February 2) was shocking to read. This will only make parents suspicious of the whole pulse polio vaccination campaign. Polio doses are kept in vials in controlled temperature, so it is puzzling how hand sanitiser was used, instead. I pray that the children are out of danger and suf fer no side ef fects from this disastrous mix-up. Maya Hemant Bhatkar
